The Job…..
- Oversee a team of Tax Accountants who will be reviewing complex tax returns, financial statements, and other tax-related documents for individuals, trusts, partnerships, businesses and corporations.
- Work with a specialist Partner in providing expert advice on tax planning strategies, tax compliance, and risk management to clients across various industries.
- Stay up-to-date on current and proposed changes in Australian tax legislation, regulations, and case law to ensure accurate and timely advice to clients.
- As well as managing and mentoring your own team, you have access to the executive leadership for your own growth and career development.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- An analytical and forward thinking approach with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- A vision of how the tax accounting landscape can be serviced in a more efficient, non-traditional way.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification.
- Ideally you will have 5 years' experience in public accounting, with a focus on Australian taxation.
- In-depth knowledge of Australian tax laws, regulations, and case law.
