Our client is a well-respected government who focus on providing top notch employee services throughout NSW. They are currently seeking a dedicated Injury Management Specialist to join their WHS and Wellbeing unit.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated experience working in HR, ER and WHS within a large organisation. The position is based in the Sydney CBD on a contract until May 2025 with an opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Reporting into the General Manager, in this exciting People Care Specialist contract, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage injury/illness cases, focusing on early intervention and return to work.
- Advise HR partners and leaders on employee safety and wellbeing.
- Maintain records of workplace injuries and provide reports.
- Monitor WHS Management System and analyze incident trends.
- Support emergency management procedures and compliance.
- Facilitate employee consultation on injury prevention and WHS issues.
- Advise on employee relations cases and guide leaders to resolutions.
- Contribute to employee relations tools and process improvements.

To be successful for this contract, you must have experience with the following:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Injury Management focused role.
- WHS, Injury Management/Employee relations experience working in the NSW Public Sector or financial services sector will be favoured.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Developed understanding of and interest in employment law and work health and safety laws.
