The Role....
  
Reporting through to the Commercial Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following duties:  

  • Manage collections and recoveries by proactively contacting commercial customers with overdue accounts, negotiating tailored repayment plans, and escalating delinquent debts when necessary.
  • Handle secured and unsecured finance accounts, including monitoring loan agreements, enforcing security interests (PPSR), coordinating asset repossessions, and pursuing legal recovery options for unsecured debts.
  • Assess financial risk and recommend actions by analysing account histories, identifying early warning signs of default, and implementing strategies to maximise recovery.
  • Ensure compliance and legal adherence by following regulatory requirements, maintaining accurate records, and working with legal teams on enforcement strategies when required.
  • Maintain strong client relationships through professional, solution-focused communication that balances financial recovery with customer retention.
  
Note: Working hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 am – 6 pm, on a rotating four-week roster.
  
   
You.....
  
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas and posses the below personal qualities:  
  • Minimum 12 months experience collecting on overdue commercial accounts within a financial services environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for building rapport.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative approach to achieving positive outcomes.
