Reporting through to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Process and verify supplier invoices, manage the accounts payable ledger, and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice queries and build strong working relationships.
- Assist with month-end closing, account reconciliations, and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Support audits by providing documentation and collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and efficiency.
To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas and possess the below personal qualities:
- Ideally you will have 2 years experience working in Accounts Payable
- Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG or stock control environment is preferred but not necessary
- Strong attention to detail and account reconciliation skills
- Intermediate Excel
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
