Sarah Bolster
Managing Director

A Sydney-sider since always, Sarah has been in recruitment since 2005. After 5 years as a specialist in the finance sector, Sarah started SB Recruitment to get back to what the industry is supposed to be about: Customer Care. Writing the business plan from her kitchen table in 2010, Sarah has since grown SB Recruitment to a team of 8 dedicated staff delivering a personal touch across the accounting, banking, and finance, customer service & administration sectors. Sarah is a ‘hands on’ MD who instils Customer Care as core value across her business, resulting in a seamless recruitment process, happy clients and fulfilled candidates. LOVES: Keeping fit through yoga and running. If you’re an early riser, you may spot her running to Watson’s Bay, or up and down Heartbreak Hill.

Leona McCarthy
Operations Manager

A professional administrator (with an ENVIABLE collection of stationary), Leona has been keeping the SB Recruitment office running ship-shape since April 2017. She originally joined us on a 6 month contract from Ireland and now we can’t bare to let her go! Leona is a core part of our team and the friendly face of the Sydney office, making sure our team has exactly what they need to be able to provide our clients and candidates with the best experience possible. LOVES: Unwinding with friends and exploring Sydney (read: hunting for cafes with the best views of the city).

Polly Martin
Client Services Manager

Leaving the UK behind for the sunny shores of Australia, Polly found her way into SB Recruitment in November 2017 as our Client Services Manager. A fast-paced position requiring a genuine care for our clients, Polly has proved herself to be extremely conscientious – always going the extra mile to help with whatever is needed. LOVES: Exploring her new adopted home of Sydney… and curling up on the couch to watch Notting Hill or one of the Marvel movies (ahem – Thor).

Katrina Borja
Candidate Manager

Katrina manages one of the most important functions within SB Recruitment: our relationship with our candidate database. Having already started her journey with us as an Administrative Assistant, Katrina makes sure we’re always in touch with our candidates, so when the perfect role comes along we can make it happen quickly! LOVES: Experimenting with flavours in the kitchen (and, thankfully, bringing yummy leftovers for the rest of us in the office…)

Jenny Quigley
Senior Recruitment Consultant

Jenny has been recruiting in Sydney since 2004. A dynamo in the Accounting and Finance sectors, SB Recruitment has been lucky to have Jenny with us almost right from our inception in 2010! Her experience means she knows exactly how to get a super detailed job brief from our clients (even if they’re not 100% sure of what they want) and source interview-worthy candidates using her extensive network. LOVES: Practicing yoga at the beach – something she wasn’t really able to do in her hometown of Galway, Ireland!

Belle Scott
Recruitment Consultant

Belle comes to SB Recruitment with 5 years’ experience in event management and corporate services. This, combined with her strong negotiating skills, makes her the perfect person to understand the needs of our clients, the demands of the role and help candidates find their PERFECT role. LOVES: Travelling the world and meeting people (her favourite trip was going to New York with her Mum in 2014... cute!!)

Kim McKenzie
Recruitment Consultant

Our newest Recruitment Consultant, Kim is showing us how juggling a full time role whilst studying a Bachelor of Arts and Business can be done with enthusiasm, motivation and focus. She provides approachability and an engaging nature to support our candidates find the perfect next step within their career.
LOVES: Discovering and trying new eateries around Sydney – she really is the office “Foodie”. Also enjoys singing her heart out in the office to RnB Fridays!
