Graduate Accounts Clerk | 6 Months + Exp

Have you 6 months + exp in AR/AP/ Bank Rec’s in an Chartered Accounting firm managing a portfolio of clients? Virtual CFO role looking after SME’s.

Join a company who believe in developing strong client relationships, sharing knowledge and strategic growth.  If you have a background in transactional accounting, a real interest in working with clients to be the best they possibly can this position could be right for you!  Work with an enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable Senior Manager across multiple diverse businesses to provide outsourced CFO services, including transactional accounting, Bookkeeping and payroll services.

The Job

You will be responsible for all accounting functions across 6-8 entities and your duties will include:

  • Check, review, prepare and reconcile all bookkeeping transactions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Bank Reconciliations
  • Enter invoices into Xero
  • Data entry as required
  • Review debtors and creditors and report to the client as required
  • Follow up on clients outstanding debts as necessary
  • Weekly and monthly reporting
  • Month end duties including BAS preparation
  • Payroll preparation
  • Cashflow and month end reporting
  • Reporting and compliance obligations including BAS, IAS, Payroll Tax and Superannuation
  • Other duties as required

To be successful for this role, you must have experience in the following:

  • Ideally 6 months experience working in a varied accounting function across multiple clients
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping / Finance or a relevant degree
  • Solid Xero system knowledge
  • Results oriented team player
  • Creative mindset and a problem-solving attitude
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have Permanent Residency as in depth training will be provided
