The Job……

Reporting through to the Region AP/AR Manager and supporting the Shared Services Centre in the UK, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Obtaining approvals for credit card payments and expenses raised by staff in Australia
  • Processing urgent payments to suppliers
  • Monthly & quarterly reconciliations and processing general ledger journals
  • Providing training to staff on the expenses system, Concur
  • Setting up jobs into the costing system and obtaining approval of jobs applications
  • Working with the management accounting team with project costing queries 


To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:

  • Ideally you will have worked in an end to end accounts payable role for a minimum of 5 years
  • Experience working with Concur
  • Experience working with JDE is advantageous
  • Have strong Excel skills and the ability to pick up new computer systems with ease
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under conflicting deadlines
  • Comfortable working autonomously or as part of the Australasian team
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
